Product Overview:
The Plastic Coated Steel Plant Support Pipe is a high-durability structural solution for modern horticulture and commercial farming. Engineered to replace traditional bamboo and untreated wood stakes, this product combines the rigid structural integrity of carbon steel with the weather-resistant properties of synthetic polymers. It provides a stable vertical or framework support for heavy-yielding plants, vines, and saplings.
Manufacturing & Technology:
Core Material: Fabricated from High-Frequency Welded Steel Tubing, providing superior anti-bending strength and load-bearing capacity compared to solid plastic or natural materials.
Coating Process: Utilizes Thermal Extrusion Coating technology. A thick layer of UV-Stabilized Polyethylene (PE) or Polypropylene (PP) is bonded to the steel core. This prevents internal oxidation and ensures the stake remains cool to the touch, preventing heat damage to delicate plant tissue.
Surface Texture: Features a Non-Slip Ribbed or Pointed Surface, designed to facilitate easy plant tying and encourage climbing vines to grip the surface without sliding.
Sealing Technology: Both ends are fitted with Injection-Molded Watertight Caps to prevent moisture from entering the steel core, eliminating the risk of internal corrosion.
Technical Parameters:
Inner Core: High-strength structural steel.
Coating: Weather-resistant PE/PP (UV-inhibited).
Diameter Range: 8{mm}, 11{mm}, 16{mm}, 20{mm}.
Length Range: 600{mm} - 3000{mm}.
