Product Overview:
Crimped Wire Mesh is a heavy-duty industrial fabric woven from pre-crimped metal wires. Unlike standard weaving, the wires are first profiled with precision "waves" before being interlaced. This process locks the intersections firmly, ensuring a stable aperture even when under heavy loads or vibrations. It is predominantly used for high-precision screening, mining, and architectural safety.
Manufacturing & Technology:
Pre-Crimping Process: Wires are passed through profiling gears to create ripples. This ensures the mesh remains rigid and flat.
Weave Types: Available in Plain Crimped (standard), Intermediate Crimped (for fine wire with large holes), and Lock Crimped (maximum stability for heavy mining).
Materials: High-tensile spring steel (65Mn), Stainless Steel (304/316), and Galvanized steel.
Technical Parameters:
Wire Diameter:1.0{mm} - 12.0{mm}.
Aperture Size: 2.0{mm} - 100{mm}.
Edge Treatment: Plain, bent, or reinforced with metal hooks for vibrating screens.
